I spoke at KubeCon!

This month I visited the beautiful state of Utah for KubeCon/CloudNativeCon.

I danced on the Bonneville Salt Flats, played in the snow, and goggled at wild bison on Antelope island.

I learned about eBPF, vLLMs, and allocating GPUs with kubernetes resource requests.

Most notably, however, the great folks at ArgoCon somehow decided I should use their microphones, podiums, and projectors for a whole 10 minutes!

That's right. They invited me to give a brief talk about how my team uses Argo Workflows. So I spun a tale as old as time about how IT struggles to please its stakeholders when operating at scale and how Argo Workflows is rewriting that story.

This was my first conference talk, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to speak in front of so many talented engineers. This was also my first conference, and I cannot express how inspired I feel after spending a week in a building with 9,000 other people who care about the same things I do. Everything about this event was an absolute blast.

(Except for the cross-country travel part. That was stressful. So North Carolina, stay tuned. I'll be coming soon to a conference near you!)

Oh, and check out the talk here: Enabling Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure with Argo Workflows
